Lord, I have known so many people in my life.
Some I have wanted to hate ~ but could not.
Some I have wanted to help ~ but they would not let me.
Lord, when I reach out in love, I pray I will grasp the hand of someone reaching back.

Marty Gillespie gave us permission to use some of her late husbands poetry on our website. Gary, one of our members passed away July 16, 2010, liked to write poetry and children's stories. Gary was very active in our church helping with crafts in VBS, helped refinish woodwork in the sanctuary when it was remodeled, greeting people as they came to worship and always ready to give an encouraging word and hug.
