Pastor Larry was born in Tecumseh, Michigan...  and quoting Pastor Larry "I am a true Michigan fan by birth!!!   However, I am a bigger fan of Jesus Christ.  He saved me in 1978 in High Point, North Carolina.   I have a B.A. in Religion from Mars Hill College, Mars Hill, North Carolina.  And a M.Div from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.   I am married to Robin, have four children and we are proud grandparents of eight grandchildren!"  

Rev. Jeff Roberts, Minister of Music

Bro. Jeff has been leading worship in churches for 37 years, and  has  been in full-time Christian ministry for 33 years.     Jeff and Linda (his wife of 32 years and have been blessed with 3 children), were both brought up in Christian homes and learned to love the Lord and His music early.    Both were classically trained in college at the College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati, in Cincinnati, Ohio.    Now they enjoy praising the Lord while singing and playing a variety of instruments.   Hillcrest Baptist Church where Jeff serves as Minister of Music, has been their home church since June of 1998.

​Pastor Chris joined the Hillcrest family in May of 2019 as the Minister of Youth and Families. He has been in teen ministries for nearly fifteen years working in camps, curriculum writing, training, and conference speaking. He trusted Christ as his savior at a young age, and felt the Lord’s calling into full time ministry one week at Word of Life Island teen camp in the summer of 1999. During Bible college he felt the Lords calling toward teen and family oriented ministries. He married his wife Heather in 2012 and together they have five children, triplet boys and twin girls. They know what a busy schedule looks like.
